When Adam and Eve disobeyed God and sinned, the nature of sin spread to all man, since every human being on earth descended from these two (Romans 5:12).
When sin was first committed, it open a doorway to to the nature of evil, and humanity became conscious of evil rather than righteousness (Romans 6:16).
Scripture identifies the works of the sinful nature as: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambition, dissensions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelry, and things like these (Galatians 5:19–21).
The gateway through which sin enters is called the flesh; our eyes, ears, nose, taste, and mouth (Galatians 5:16, Genesis 3:6). Yet sin is actually committed through the soul specifically the will aided by the imagination, thoughts, and mind (2 Corinthians 10:4–5, Ezekiel 18:20).
