When God created the spirit of a man, He proclaimed blessing on the spirit of a man found in Genesis chapter 1:26, 27 and 28.
The blessings were spoken to the spirit of a man before the body and soul of a man were created in Genesis 2:6. Since the body and soul were subject to the spirit of a man because man had not fallen and did not know sin at this time, the blessing would manifest from man’s spirit to his soul and body, and to his immediate environment.
The key words from God’s blessing are: man is to have dominion over all the earth (Gen 1:26). God said man should be fruitful and multiply (Gen 1:28). Also, man is to fill the earth and subdue the earth (Gen 1:28).
These are the blessings the enemy (Satan) came to steal, kill and destroy (Gen 3:6, John 10:10). Also, Jesus came to restore what the enemy stole, with abundant and eternal life (John 3:16, Gal 2:20, John 10:10).
